Dallas Museum of Art

Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) was established in 1903 and is among the 10th largest museums in the USA. Located in the arts district of Dallas, this museum encompasses more than 24,000 pieces of art from all cultures & time periods. With so much real estate DMA is able to host events, lectures, concerts, exhibits all while preserving the main global gallery. Jean-Michel Basquiat: Sam F

This portrait depicts Dallasite Sam Feldman, friend of Basquiat. He painted Sam F in 1985 on a door while staying in Dallas with the Feldmans.
